Our Therapy Services utilize
a team-centered approach.
Therapists, Nursing, Social Services, residents and families work together
to:
- Design the best plan for the resident to
regain independence
- Establish a sense of well-being
- Attain the highest level of individual
functioning
Therapy schedules are determined by each individual’s
activity tolerance and physician's orders.
Our Therapy Program may offer specialized
care for:
- Decreased function, muscular weakness
- Fractures, balance problems, head trauma
- CVA, stroke, pain
- Perceptual and cognitive deficits
- Speech and swallowing difficulties
Services may include:
- Wheelchair positioning
- Wound care services
- Falls Prevention Program
- Bowel and Bladder Program
- Therapeutic outings to enhance
community-based skills
